For working auctioneers

Upload photos. AI does the rest.

Hammerwerks runs your online timed auctions end-to-end. AI drafts every lot from your photos, bidding runs itself, and settlement closes the books — invoices, payments, seller statements — automatically. You review, approve, ship.

What the AI actually does

Catalog faster than you can type.

The hard part of running an auction isn't the bidding — it's the cataloging. Hammerwerks shifts that cost onto AI so a one-person shop can run the lot volume of a five-person team.

01

Photos in, lots out.

Bulk-upload photos. AI drafts title, description, category, brand, condition. Confidence-scored, flagged when it's unsure.

02

Bidding that runs itself.

Proxy bids, anti-snipe extensions, real-time WebSocket fanout. Lots close themselves on schedule. You don't sit at the keyboard during the sale.

03

Settlement on autopilot.

Invoices generate. Cards on file charge automatically. Seller statements draft themselves. Stripe optional — cash, check, and wire work too.

How it runs

Common questions

What people ask before they sign up.

Short answers. If you'd rather just talk, the call is 15 minutes and the calendar's open here.

Can I bring my existing inventory over?

Yes. CSV import covers the bulk case — title, description, condition, lot number, starting bid, photos by URL. Hands-on import for trickier catalogs is included in founder-led charter onboarding.

Does it work for in-person auctions too?

Today: online-timed is the polished surface. In-person and hybrid (online + live caller) are supported in the data model but need more polish on the auctioneer console. Talk to us if that's your primary mode — we'll prioritize.

Do you take a cut of my sales?

No commission, no percentage of gross, no per-lot fees. Just the flat monthly subscription, a per-auction fee when each sale closes, and Stripe's standard processing if you use card payments. That's everything.

What if I want to cancel?

Month-to-month. Cancel anytime — no annual contract, no exit fee. We'll export your catalog, bidders, and audit log as CSV + JSON. Charter customers get a 30-day guarantee tied to a measurable success metric.

Can my team use it too?

Yes — unlimited users at no extra cost. Five built-in roles (owner, admin, cataloger, accountant, viewer) so your assistant can catalog, your bookkeeper can reconcile, and nobody touches what they shouldn't.

How long until I'm running my first sale?

Self-serve setup is under an hour: create the auction, import or catalog lots, set the close time, publish. Charter onboarding adds five hours of founder-led time for branding, payment setup, and a dry run with your team.
